Carl Joseph Loguidice Obituary
November 04, 1946 - February 24, 2026

Carl Joseph LoGuidice, 79, of Bluffton, SC passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his home.

Carl was born November 4, 1946, in Paterson, NJ to the late Carl Joseph LoGuidice and Rose Capalbo LoGuidice. He was a 1970 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and upon graduation, entered into the Marine Corps. During his tenure in the Marine Corps, Carl was stationed at Parris Island, SC, Camp LeJeune, NC and overseas, in Okinawa, Japan, for a year. Completing his military service as a Captain, he then spent 30 years working in logistics before a short retirement. Carl then spent five years shaping young minds as a math teacher at John Paull II Catholic School in Bluffton.

Carl was married to the love of his life, Kathleen Rayhack LoGuidice, for 55 years. Growing up down the street in Little Falls, New Jersey, they had known each other from a very young age. They began dating while Carl attended the Naval Academy, and married on June 6, 1970, just two weeks following his Naval Academy graduation. Carl and Kathleen went wherever the Marine Corps. and his career in Logistics took them, creating their family along the way. They ultimately settled in Bluffton, SC in 2006.

In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his daughters, Lori Sheridan (Brian) of Easton, PA and Nancy Aiken-DeLano (Jason) of Bluffton; brother, Robert LoGuidice (Julie) of Tempe, AZ; brother in law, John Rayhack (Jane) of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Taylor Sheridan, Blake Sheridan, Dante Aiken, and Dominic Aiken; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his daughter, Suzanne LoGuidice, and son-in-law, Alfonza Aiken.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Drive, Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the time of the mass at the church. Burial to follow at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
